Maou maoyuu yuusha cosplay

Hi! Hi! 

do you know about manga / anime Maou Maoyuu Yuusha...

well, i will cosplay as maou ( demon queen) from maou maoyuu yuusha. A main chara from that anime.

I know this anime from my boyfriend .. every we meet, he have to copied anime for me. And one of them is this anime. So, I watched it. I was amazed with this character. i though she just a typical ojou-sama or something but not she was clever and smart. So, why not cosplaying as here. Moreover, we have the same physical appearence.. (Oppai and flabby arm )..

also i like the yuusha... He was tsundere type boy.. like my BF.. ( urgh).... 

okay.. now let see the costume progress..

progress for the dress.. 

sleeves part...

note: for the sleeves because there plaid pattern detail. so i made ​​2 parts. 1 red (for the inside), 1 again black ( for the upside).  also for the black part i cut a square pattern. Then, I glue the inside with double tape. actually it much better if i glue with a glue for fabric but. i forget to buy that. and all i have is double tape.(look the pict for detail)...well the reason i glue it is because, if it's sewing the thread will be seen. 

 yey... almost done!!!

well since the costume almost done. the next thing is trying the make up...

lastly.. i also made the horn headband. i made it from craft foam / eva foam. and paint it with acrylic paint then finish it with clear pylox.

actually this costume is already done. and i wear it to convention was held a month ago. but i just forget to write it in my blog..

nyaruko cosplay progress

Hi! Hi! 

like in my last post about ennichisai cosplay plan...

then, i would like to share about my nyaruko costume progress.

here they are~~~

nyaruko is the main character from anime Haiyore! Nyaruko-san.

 But, i'm not gonna make this version... XD

the costume i wanna make is this one... a yukata version which is appears in episode 7

since this is japanese festival ... 

so i would like to cosplay wearing yukata.. and the choice is nyaruko...
 well, at the first  i was confused to choose what character i should make.. 

should i make nyaruko, or maybe usagi tsukino in yukata?? 

but then.. i choose cosplay as nyaruko..  

and here my costume progress..   

I'm still not used to cut with a rotary cutter 

for the fabric, i choose japanase cotton or in indonesia known as 'katun imai'. 

 for the flower details it was hand painted using a local paint textile. 

and for the obi..*sigh....  

i still have to bought the fabric..

now painted the flower detail..... i get this method from deviantart.. ( i forget who give this tutorial).

first, make the flower in the cardboard . then cutting the cardboard. 

the flower base 

second, paint the flower. and let it dry. ( tips: use a sponge is more effective that using a brush, especially for large image area. also using a hairdryer. so, the paint dry more faster ) 

dear flower please dried quickly.. XD

 now, paint the detail..

 ( for this using a brush )

the wig 

nyaruko have an ahoge.. and sometimes the ahoge make a heart shape to show her feeling to mahiro.. so i decide to make the ahoge in heart shape

lately, for the hair accesories.. i made using a felt and aligator clip.

then,  i also had a make up a test or better known as "costest" to cosplay this character. well i still have to buy the corect softlens..

Atelier Meruru - Alchemist of Arland 3 cosplay

Hi everyone..

i come back again..

Now, i would like to share about my new cosplay..

is Merurulince Rede Arls from Atelier Meruru – Alchemist of Arland 3
Well, actually i was wearing this at Gelar Jepang UI 2012, 15th July.



fiuh,, i’m so glad i can finish this costume in time.. even i still have to make the staff and her bag. TAT

But,, is so nice to cosplay as her..
i love her mufler.. she have a half mufler.. and i think that was make her really cute >0< okay about the character.. Merurulince Rede Arls or u can call her meruru.. is the main chara in Atelier Meruru - Alchemist of Arland 3. She is totori student. And she is also the princess of Arlands.. ( that’s way she wear a crown, and i also making the tutorial about making the crown) . she is so young, (not like me TAT) her age is about 16 year old. And if u seeing rorona became a child. Hmn.. the reason is because of her. XD

Okay, Since this is the final series of atelier- alchemist of arlands. I also wanna make the other character.. like totori. I hope i can make it. Amin

Now, let’s look how i made the costume
First.. i gather the material..
i use 2m of Satin Taffeta (yellow)
ready to use corset
1 1/5m Satin silk (white)
a variety of lace (golden, white, organdy, etc)
zipper
and also the others tools


since i’m a muslim.. i have to redesign her corset... and that’s way i prefer to remake the ready use corset.. ( well is more cheaper than i made in the tailor, coz i can’t make the corset TAT). Then i start making the yellow part for the corset... i just put the corset on the paper and making the pattern yellow part. Pretty easy XD and now i have the yellow part.. and start to sew on my corset..

next, is made the sleeves... i attach the flower detail that i made it before.. for flower detail i paint it using acrylic paint. And also adding the golden lace.



After finish it, i still have to finishing the detail, adding more lace at the corset, and accesories.

for the skirt.. since is a pleated skirt.. i have to pleated the pattern first and ironing. Then sewing... sewing the zipper, etc... lastly..is adding organdy lace for details



fiuh, i’m so sorry i forgot to taking the pict when i making the mufler and
for making the muffler.is really easy... first, i folding the fabric into a triangle.. measure the height of the muffler then cutting the upside and the edge.. so when u unfold the fabric.. u will have a half round pattern...

then,, i sew the red (offside) and white ( inside) muffler, adding the lace, and attach the collar..



for the pants.. wew... i think i should skip this one.. XD

well, i stiil adding more and more details to make it perfect XD ( actually not a 100% perfect LOL)
